Crinum Creek at Crinum Mine, and Isaac River at Broadmeadow Mine in 2012 and 2013.

Objective

During coal mining longwall subsidence, the exposed stone floor of the local creek develop cracks, which can temporarily affect natural water flows.

Tim Gilroy managed the pumping and injection of grout to seal the subsidence cracks of these ephemeral rivers and creeks and protect native waterway habitats.

Scope

Supply the plant and equipment and supply chain logistics, requiring astute business and management skills to deliver this long term project.

Tim managed intro to site, HR, IT, Engineering, QA/QC, mix design, maintenance management and all aspects of the service to achieve this project outcome.

Result

Tim project managed and deliver a grout plant, transfer agi trucks, pump truck and workers to deliver this work was achieved safety and efficiently.
